In February we moved to this area and purchased a home here in Washington and while cleaning and painting we noticed that the air duct system in the floor was really nasty and filled with debris and needed to be cleaned. We called around seeking a firm to do the work and really wasn't having any luck finding a contractor until we met our neighbor who told us about Michaels and there experience with the company. We gave Michaels a call to look over the project and during the inspection/ testing of the system Mike found that the heating system was leaking high levels of carbon monoxide fumes into the living area above. Michael gave a referral to a heating company who could do repairs and it was determined that the entire heating unit was in very bad shape and needed to be replaced altogether. Michaels and the repair company worked together and coordinated the removal of the old system and the cleaning of duct work and reinstallation of the new system all within 2 days. We are very lucky in the fact that had our family moved into the home not knowing the heating system was unsafe...would not have been a good thing.
